The best boat tour leaving directly from Las Terrenas.
Playa Jackson is a very nice wild beach accessible only by boat where there no construction, no houses, no hotels !
Leaving from ‘’Las Ballenas’’ beach in Las Terrenes at 9:00, first we pass through the small islands called ‘’Las Ballenas’’ which we can see from the beach. Very amazing to see them so closed!
After a 30 minutes navigation, we make a stop for snorkeling up to Cayo Jackson which was before a small island and today is submerged. Maybe it won’t be the best snorkeling of your life, but yes you could observe some of the tropical fishes we have in Dominican Republic.
Then we go to Jackson beach, which as you can see on the pictures, is a very beautiful 100% wild place. There is also a nice transparent fresh river to refresh you if you like.
Normally we never see any more people there during all the morning. It’s really difficult to find a similar beach today in 2024 where there is no tourism and no human life : this place is really a paradise.
On the way back we follow the cost very closely to discover from the sea all beaches of Coson, Bonita y Las Ballenas.
Back at about 1:30 pm.
